Mod 08-14-08 2008 Dirt Grands Report 05-15-08 A new beginning for Stinger Chassis During the winter of 2008 Dave Mueller decided he wanted to go in a different direction and sold his Mueller Motorsports parts business to Ken Traino of Traino racing. It was during this time that Steve Boyd of Tiger Racing Team expressed his desire to purchase Stinger Chassis and continue the success that Rob had built and Dave continued. A deal came together just prior to the 2008 racing season and Stinger Chassis and its assets were purchased by Tiger Racing Team and Steve Boyd. Stinger Chassis company moved into its new shop in Manchester, NJ were it plans to continue the tradition of winning races. We would like to thank Rob Andersen and Dave Mueller for their support and assistance during the transition into this new venture, both will remain available to help take Stinger Chassis Company into the future. Our philosophy at Stinger chassis is to approach it as a family. The Stinger Chassis family and work together within the Stinger family of owners to move forward with our design and development of the chassis. If your not always trying to improve your not going to stay ahead of the competition on the race track. We also want to continue the relationships that Rob and Dave have formed over the years with other manufacturers. Most of all we want to win races!!!! |
